Learn to crochet and create these cute little newborn hats! Jessica from The Contrary Canary will be teaching students how to crochet newborn hats. Each student will have 3 hours to learn how to crochet in the round, learn how to make a pompom and double crochet. Advanced students will learn additional stitches and can chose an advanced hat option. Each student will go home with two handmade patterns and one lucky student will go home with a free handmade hat from The Contrary Canary Collection! To enroll in the class, stop by The HodgePodgery during normal business hours, call with a credit card during business hours or email tara@thehodgepodgery.com for assistance.Cost is $25 per person. Each person will need to bring one skein of yarn and hook. Jessica will bring additional accent yarn and additional sized hooks to try during class.

Once you sign up you will be sent an email with the information needed to participate as well as you can ask the instructor questions. Crocheting newbies will be given a video to watch to learn how to chain stitch and get used to the hand movement of crocheting.

This class is for one pompom hat. Boys hats will have a single pom on top or you can do the double pom.
