You will create two delightful soldered charms encased in glass.  Some of the paper and glass used in this project has been repurposed from glass scraps, magazines, fabric scraps and wrapping paper. You can choose to make a charm with your first initial and add a button from our stash, or you may bring a picture of a loved one and encase them in this adorable charm to keep them close to your heart.  These sweet little charms make a great necklace or bracelet charm for you or to give as a special handmade gift. You may bring a nickel sized personal item to put inside your charm if you wish or even use a small picture or cartoon! This charm can be anything you want it to be and range in size from approx 1×1 inch to 1×2 1/2 inches. People have even used them as zipper pulls or key chains. We can also do long rectangular shaped charms as seen in the picture above. Call the HoPo to sign up for the next class!

This class got RAVE reviews from past participants!

Warning: After this awesome class, youll want to go out and buy a soldering iron, etc to make more!

Men- looking for a hands on craft? You get to use power tools in this one! Make the perfect Holiday gift for your significant other!

I’m interested in taking the initial button charm class, but I can’t make either of the two Fridays it’s offered in October. Will you be running again in November? Do you by chance know the specific dates? If it will only run on Friday, I need enough notice to schedule off of work.

    Thanks so much.
