Iris Folding Cards
Instructor: Julie Snyder
Love paper? Love greeting cards? Cut, fold and layer colorful and clever cards that will become a fascination! Learn how to create gorgeous, fun and funky cards for all occasions using recycled paper products.
Iris Folding Cards originated in Holland. The technique involves placing color coordinated strips of folded paper over a pattern. The spiraling design resembles the iris of an eye or camera. It is fun, easy and makes a fabulous card!
Cards are made from granola bar wrappers, magazine pages, paint samples, paper ream wrappers, potato chip bags, tissue boxes, water bottle labels and even wallpaper samples.
Choose 3 cards from the list below.
Your choices need to be made 3 days before the class is planned to start. Please call the HoPo with your 3 choices. If we do not receive choices from you 3 days prior, the instructor will have a selection for you to choose from.
